Our minds are more inclined to focus on what’s going wrong because it’s our survival instinct. That is why we often don’t appreciate the value of what we have and take it for granted. That is the recipe for living in a state of dissatisfaction. 


Although we know the positive effects of practicing gratefulness, it is very hard to do since it’s against our natural tendency and emotions. So how do you feel grateful in hard times and disappointments? Fortunately, we can train our minds to see the good in unfavorable situations by making it a habit through simple actions in our daily life.
